Trains breaking apart

Hi All

I have been away from Trainz for quite awhile and have purchased 2019 and am loving what i see. . I am, however, having a problem with trains evidently breaking apart in a random fashion. I assume this simulates a broken coupler. I dont' want this to happen with AI driven trains. I have tried arcade mode and the NONE selection as to break downs, but it still occurs. Anyone know of a fix, or am I just missing something.

Also, these break aparts are not at the same location or with the same consists. They happen about anywhere and with any consist.

Thanks.
John

Is the coupler breakage rule enabled?

This would show up as a graphic in the driving session with red and green couplers indicated stress or no stress on the couplers. Is it too much stress on the couplers caused by not enough engine power - meaning using a switcher to lug a huge number of boxcars.

I actually did do that once with a poor little SW1500. The little engine was hauling a ton of boxcars and tanks and they were pretty long and heavy. The engine stalled on a grade and I revved up the motor. The engine moved at 1 mph in notch 8, and then there was a CLINK! sound, and a message about a broken coupler.

But more recently I ran into the situation you are having and I added in a few more engines, which seemed to help my situation.
