Train Related Humor

Morning Casper,

love it so subtile well done, that is what the islanders in EU are so good at real humor.
It reminds me of the posts they use in Holland to jump the irrigation canals and make it a yearly competition who gets dry to the other side.
Casper if you have an object of this pole I want to give it a place at where I am working right now on the Laggan sub as a funny memorible of this forum moment.
Yoou have a great week my friend.

Hello Roy.

The post is by motorman1066. BCC Timber Pole <kuid2:108959:23022:2>. I double stacked it to make it a "long post".

There is a slightly longer one of his, with no metal top cap, USA Timber Pole <kuid2:108959:23052:2> which might be more suitable for your canal jumping.

The re-nameable sign is by jaceck. <KUID:83218:28089>

All on the DLS.

You have a great weekend too!

Wouldn't Casper's image be a bit of Trainz humor. :D

When I was young and said I wanted to be a comedian, they all laughed.

They’re not laughing now.

Cheers

From the Southern Railway's in-house magazine, in the middle of WW2. I had to alter the two lines in red as the original is not what would be considered 'politically correct' 71 years later. In some ways, it demonstrates that other things have not changed at all... 'Channel Packet' (21C1, later BR no 35001) was the first of Bulleid's Merchant Navy class 'air-smoothed' Pacifics, introduced in June 1941.

Train moves by rails. If it moves by sleepers, it have been already derailed. But sometimes...
