Train Priorities

I know how to set normal train priorities, but I can see no way of doing this with trains generated by portals.

Can some knowledgeable person please tell me how to do this?

Thanks,

Ian:confused:

Try the Set Priority command (KUID2:147570:80001:1) or the Priorityz command (KUID:66277:80003) to do this - from experience, I have found the Set Priority command works more reliably - the priorityz command didn't always appear on the command list (they are both driver commands, so you can add the command to the portal schedules)

Set Priority is by erniesouchak and priorityz is by Smileyman.

This is what I'm trying to do!

I think I had better explain what I am trying to do:-
I have a double-tracked main line, with a double-tracked branch leading off it.

The branch has a trigger some distance before the junction on the approach side, and a signal close to the junction, also on the approach side, naturally!

There are two signals on the main line, each on the approach side.

I am using the trigger multiple signals rule, and have set it so the main line traffic will have to stop to allow a branch line train to continue on to the main line.
When I test this set-up, both the train approaching on the branch line, and the train approaching on the main line, both signals remain red holding up both trains!

I've been fiddling around with the trigger radius, and the trigger multiple signals rule, but all to no avail!

Can anyone please help a confused old man!:o

How about control track at t/mark. Then release track at t/mark. both by pguy. This should allow branch train to hold the track until its on to the main.

I've found 10 downloads by pguy, but not control at trackmark or release at trackmark. Are you sure they're by pguy?

I think that you may be able to control the situation by using the check trackside command to check the trigger (when a train enters/leaves it)

I think that you may have more luck if you use the Set Signal rule rather than the Trigger Multiple Signals rule, as a major drawback of the Trigger Multiple Signals rule is that it will only hold the signal at red while the train is over the trigger. The Set Signal rule will still work with the Check Trackside rule.

Generally: (> means indent once, >> mens indent twice, capitals is the name of the command/selection - don't worry, it's not me shouting)

CHECK TRACKSIDE (use trigger that you currently use for Trigger Multiple)
>SET SIGNAL (set the mainline signal to DANGER)
>CHECK TRACKSIDE (use the trackmark where the track joins the mainline, or a trackmark/trigger just after)
>>SET SIGNAL (same as above, change to AUTOMATIC)

(If you want it to work the other way round, use the same commands, but replace with the opposite signal/trigger)

EDIT:I cannot find the control at t/mark instructions either - may be built-in
OK, just found control at trackmark command - done by atilabarut
