Train hits MARTA bus near Atlanta, GA, USA

I don't know why the bus driver didn't just back up a few feet. Even if there was a vehicle behind him that bus had enough power to shove it back as well. Plus he shouldn't have been stopped on the tracks in the first place. But stupid is as stupid does.

Hi Everybody.
Whether you are a train driver, bus driver, truck driver or straight forward car driver we all make mistakes while driving and always will do. Vocational drivers are expected to make less mistakes but they still occur on a regular basis . Truck drivers making mistakes has kept me in employment for the last thirty years and long may they continue to do so. :D

Confucius once said "it is an ill wind that blows no one any good" :)

Bill....
Is that how you spell Confucius........Not sure if he even said that........Oh well it will do....makes my point......I think

I lived in Atlanta for a few years when I was much younger, and still go there occasionally, and I will say that the drivers in Atlanta are a bit crazy, especially during Rush Hour. If you're in Atlanta for something special, it's always a good idea to leave Atlanta before Rush Hour, otherwise be ready to go about ten miles per hour, constantly starting and stopping, all on a twelve-lane interstate (six lanes each way).
