Train gone invisible

rastis

3Ds MAX will be my demise
G'day!

I am really frustrated now. Spending a million hours (Okay, not a MILLION) on a high-speed electrified line. I added a train and some rolling stock, went to Driver, only to get a script error. I then exited Driver and went to Surveyor to delete the train, but it wasn't there. I added a train where the other train was supposed to be, but it tells me the consist is hidden by a layer, which cannot be possible, because there are no layers in TS2009 SP4. This stupid train is blocking the mainline. And the train doesn't go away when I exit the map, it stays there causing complete and utter confusion when I drive another loco...

Any ideas?

Cheers! :)

Jake.

Place a new piece of rolling stock near where the invisible train is. Move the visible wagon around, eventually it will couple to the invisible train. Use 'Delete Consist' on the visible wagon and the invisible stuff will be gone also...

Sorry Andy, that won't work. It stops but doesn't couple up. :(

EDIT: Also, when adding a consist and it couples to the invisible train and I click 'Delete' I get a crash and 'Trainz has stopped working'.

Cheers! :)

If there is a train on it you can't delete (or otherwise manipulate) track.

If you have nothing but rolling stock in the session you could delete the session. On the other hand, if you have 500 ATLS crossing, 200 industries and a thousand of Maddy's intersections you don't want to lose that info LOL

Can you assign a driver to the 'missing' consist?

Andy
