Trackside seems dull (ideas requested)

Another idea - drainage ditches along the track. I create these by first laying the track on the terrain surface. Then I lower it about 2m and use the Smooth Spline Height. Then I raise the track 2.5m and use the Smooth Spline Height again. The result is a nice little ditch on either side of the tracks. Make sure you plant plenty of grass & weeds in the ditches.
