Hi all,
I thought I might report on a problem I had recently and tell how I fixed it. Firstly, I apologise if this is repeating something already posted but I don't recall having seen anything like this on the "New Forum". The problem arose as follows: I had a shunter loco (AI controlled) sitting parked at the start of a session on a siding and it was required to couple to a set of flatcars further along the same siding but over a junction. Then it was required to travel onto an adjoining line via the junction and to a container farm loading area and load containers before continuing further. A problem arose when I put a trackmark on the adjoining line with a "drive via trackmark" instruction as the train would almost pass right through the loading area and only load the last few flatcars and I discovered that the problem lay with the placing of the "drive via" trackmark in that there wasn't enough room between the marker and the loading area to fit the train. Removing the trackmarker and placing a direction marker pointing toward the junction on the line near where the loco had been parked at the start fixed the problem. Another possibility was to shorten the consist but I wanted to use that length.
Hope this is of some use to those having similar problems.
Cheers
Russell.
