Trackmark won't Delete

I have 4 trackmarks that I cannot delete. They show in the nini map and on tm list. However, they don't show in Surveyor. I tried to see if they were Iin the route layer or session layer. They appear to be in neither. How do I remove tm's that aren't really there?

Place a spline point either side of the offending trackmarks then delete that section of track. Then either drag one of the ends to meet the other or replace the section of track.

I was able to delete the pieces of track with the offending trackmarks and replace the track...no more problems. (At least not with extra trackmarks).
