Track Speed Limits

Hi all I am still fairly new at this and have recently downloaded some track layouts e.g White Mountain. I was wondering whether there is a way of changing the speed limits on the tracks I can't seem to find anything in the manuals

The default speed limit is 40mph. To change speed limits, you have to place speed limit / speedboards along the track. Be aware that when entering a zone of lowered speed, it will take effect as soon as the loco passes the sign. If you are entering an increased speed zone, it doesn't take effect until the last car in the consist passes the sign.
