Kab Fourword -- model Trainz layout

This layout has caused me more stress, anxiety and panic attacks than any of my other layouts. A couple of times I thought I should give up. But, hey, it's turned out quite well. There are, as always, a few more finishing touches. Best watched full screen and at 1080p:

I have tried to set grid size to 5mm, but nothing happens. Obviously I am missing something. Anybody have a hint on how to change grid size? thanks

Won't see anything on a flat board, need hills etc.

Or on raised Track, smoothing the ground will create a 5m wide embankment rather than a 10m one.
