Track missing in "Mini-Map"

Hi everyone !

I have a strange problem.
Today my AI-driver just wouldn´t work. I´ve been going over the problem for several hours and everything seems to be fine until i check the "Mini-Map" in "surveyor". When I zoom in really close, I can see that there´s a bit (or several bits) of track missing.
I´ve tried to erase the track and lay down new track
Tried to add and remove spline points
Tried to move switches and signals

What I discovered is that the missing part of track moves when I try these things. The size of the missing track may also change.

I have no idea why this is happening. Can anyone help me ??

All the best,
Stefan

are you using 2010? if so i have this all the time, but it doesnt affect anything. if you are using 2010, i have found that the al dont like it if the train is in the route layer

I have found a way that seems to solve AI drivers getting confused with these gaps. I don’t know if it will work for everyone but it sorted out my Wilton-on-sea route and its’ session “Rainy day”.

1 Load the route for edit (not the session)

2 Replace the track for some other track I used the 2009 one
3 Save just the route and not the session
4 If you now run the session that was causing problems for the AI drivers; the gaps will still be there but the driver should ignore them.
5 You can now change the track back to as it was by editing the route (not the session)and save it if you wish.

I have no idea why this should work but it seems to!!!!!

Hmm...
tried it twice, no success. The gaps are changing locations.
What is this ??

This maybe more of a display issue than an actual physical problem. I've seen this before and ignore them. The track is also missing from tunnels and bridges, but this has always been the case even with earlier versions of Trainz.

Well, the problem is that the AI-driver can´t find the path when the line is missing.... this is driving me crazy....
