Too many sessions!

Whenever I edit my routes, when i go to save, i select "overwrite route and session", but when I exit and then look at CM or the select route screen, I seem to have 12 different sessions (all named the same), for this one route. Is there any way to avoid this? I would like one session for my one route at the moment.

Instead of "save as" just click "save" then click "create new session" and when you go back into routes click "session" then you can go into driver or edit that session hope this helps (weejock)

If you select edit route it will create a new session each time. Open your route via edit session and once open click the layer tab and then merge the session layer with the route layer just in case anything is on the session layer. Now when you exit, it will overwrite both the route and session.

i always use edit route, when i'm finnished i exit surveyor, click save then when the next box poen i click the top butten; save route and session. then i only have one route and one session. i also do everything in the route not session. the only thing i do when i edit that session is to add rules and driver commands.
I set up all INDs in edit route.( yes they kept the infromation in TS12) as long as you save route & session (not overwrite )

A quick way of getting rid of unwanted multiple sessions is to use 'save route as' with a new name (eg. adding v2 to the original), checking that it has saved OK, then deleting the original route. I have deleted as many as 20 unwanted sessions this way.

Of course, this only works if you want to delete all of the sessions.
