Been looking for awhile while I save up to fix my PC.
CPU & MOBO to replace
This option will let me use my existing RAM & SLI cards without having to upgrade to DDR3 as well & only cost around $500.

Current specs
Processor: AMD Athlon 6400 X2 Dual Core
Motherboard: AN9 32X series 3.00 gigahertz

Graphics: Inno3d 9600gt 512mb (2X in SLI
new 1000w psu

Having trouble finding amd2 boards in SLI so going to amd+ is an easier option.

Well, it certainly seems like a killer motherboard, that Foxconn Destroyer MOBO. In fact, is Trainz the only game you are going to play on this?

I'd be asking about your proposed OS and how that is going to get the best out of the Destroyer MOBO. It also seems to have *real* graphics firepower.

The AMD Board looks good, and a safe buy. Its a bit hard to tell with Foxconn putting all that info out on the Destroyer page.

Is Trainz all you are going to use either MOBO for?

No. Race games Nfsu2, Grid etc as well as games like Crysis,Thief ,Halo etc
as well as my daughters world of war craft.

Really a bit of everything
