PC Upgrade / Rebuild

Well my PC finally died.I had suspected the Mobo But Found 2 ram sticks damaged as well as some usb & sata ports not working on the board plus the processor not running as well as it should.I suspect a power surge / lightning strike which damaged it somewhat but not completelydestroyed it

I have rebuilt the PC & replaced everything except the video cards & Hdd's
This the new build. OLd build still in sig

Looks very nice indeed! Very similar to my rig (in sig). I would recommend investing some in a good battery backup/surge protector. I suspect you've already learned that lesson...

What is your impression of SLI regarding Trainz performance? I'm thinking of Crossfiring two Gigabyte 4650 1gig cards.

Check these links Re benchmarking tests I cant find any advantage in SLI at this time seems more advantage from RAM & the Graphics Card itself .The better the card the better the performance?.

Will have to run some tests on 09 to see what results I get there.
