Thomas and friends on the DLS

:DFor the most users that do not know there is a problem with thomas content being on the DLS. It will continue to be like this for long time. There are 2000 users that started to fighting back because of the iusse. It forced Auran/NV3 to take down the thomas content, by a complaint by SI3D admin. The pros and cons are very simple. Thomas in multiplayer will not exist at this time, for the children this is a learning curve to put it on download station in near future.:D And not on the file sharing site, I always say that trust and honesty and respect goes long way. My moto no word such as I can't and nothing is impossible.

Do not let one forum feel to put you down, to understand there are good members and bad members, I learn't it the very hardest way possible. If you are a great thomas fan please try your hardest to fight back with us.

Any specific reason why you are not doing so yourself? If you are asking others to do so, there must be an obvious reason.
What would a kickstarter do about copyrights?
 
Are you trying to start a revolution of Thomas vs Real life? SURE, head that way ---->
 
I am glad you ask that question? I am doing it through facebook at this moment because its free and I do not give out my card details, I got 19 users going for it at the moment
 
Why use kickstarter for a protest? It's for funding projects, not protesting as far as I know?

Good luck in your plan. Maybe N3V should think of a license to make a kids version on Thomas Trainz? It could be a nice spin-off that helps fund the more adult version that most of us like!

You are asking others to do the dirty work for you (and with that I mean starting a kickstarter). I think my question is pretty clear: Why are you not doing it yourself?
 
I am partly disabled, but I am doing myself just taking time, I am a light minded person. For users that can understand I am trying to help and care and cptengland is right about N3V should think of a license to make a kids version on Thomas Trainz and multiplayer could be acess. Thomas content is a freeware and not payware.

I was thinking of doing a Kickstarter but it will not happening and its not worth it for freeware content

Thomas & Friends are protected by a legal Copy write I agree to that but I just feel sad:mop::'(:mop: same as you. Do you wish they can take part in the trainz multiplayer world?

I am not a bad person or trainz user, I just look for postive out come. Thomas content is on the DLS but not many.

While we're on the subject, do you have permission to use that picture in your sig or did you paint it yourself? I ask because I'm pretty sure I know who did paint it, the style is quite distinctive.

yes I do, i am :D to say, I know the person very well who created it and we are close friends as well and we belong to the same circle. My family worked for M&GN long time ago from 1883 to 1969

I for one wouldn't mind to see the SI3d stuff on DLS. But, with the Copyrights to them, that is what is preventing SI3D to put it on the DLS, and at any point, they could make profit off them if they were put on the DLS (GULP). Besides, why do you think I made that post a long time back about the old MSTNoodle Emily on the DLS?
 
To sum up the truth - You can't do anything. That's like me taking an ES44AH blueprint and building one myself. I'd probably get my rear kicked by both GE Transportation AND CSX for their special specifications on the locomotive. Give up, it likely won't happen unless you call (Thomas the Tank Engine's Owner's) legal department and discuss licensing fees and paying them.
I vote for the thread to be locked before it goes downhill like most other similar threads on here.
 
HIT entertaiment has the rights to the show now, not Britt Alcroft. But, you are correct, this post could go downhill, and quick. I think one of the mods better lock the post before that happens.
