I don't post here much anymore (just when the spirit strikes me). But this is absurd. I never really used AUS equipment, but yours looks amazing, and don;t listen to these "school yard punks" as another used it. Trainz is just a game for fun, and who cares what another person says, as long as you are having fun, that is all that matters.

A correlation?

The first thing that came into my mind was the recent scam perpetrated on Dermmy, an e-mail claiming litigation for unauthorized content distribution...a false accusation!

The clue was a AU reference(content made for Australia).

Australia has announced the formation of an "Internet Terrorism" Agency...boy, I'd hate to be in these peoples(or this guy's) shoes when they get caught!

Someone e-mailed me a while back about sending payware files, but I deleted it without responding(I have waited too long & enjoy this hobby too much to loose by file sharing). I think it was an adolescent by the lack of punctuation & grammar.:hehe:

There is a general tone of rubbish in a lot of threads of late and seems to be a lack of moderation - the swearing and abuse seem to be a bit over the top.

I used to like how these fourms were very much self moderating and fellow users often remined others of the required behaviours, but currently give some one a suggestion that they may be over the top and be prepared to get abused and added to this a full mail box of heated abusive mail.

I agree with you. The profanity does seem to slip through a bit more than it should.

Fortunately, I am one of those who strongly opposes the profanity, etc., and does speak up to users at times about it.

We can all do a part to tell the swearers to quit it, for it is forbidden from these forums by the Code of Conduct.

Be grateful that we still have these official Trainz Discussion Forums; the forums owned by USLW/JointedRail, located at http://trainzforums.com/ (notice how that Web address is very official-sounding ), seem to have some inappropriate content and language, such as in the thread "Thing that make you go LOL" (a thread which is just the type of thread to attract such garbagge, which is made obvious even by just the thread's title). I am very appalled at that, and would never, ever, register on those forums.

Well, I'm scratching the old head at the absurdity of this - it's surely the same sort of mentality as someone who sends out computer trojans and viruses (virii?).

After all, if I shared a house with chuffbuff, and knew his sense of humour could take it, and sent an anonymous mail to him, and I could see his face go white and his knuckles whiten with anger, that would sort of be a funny practical joke! ..........but to send an email when you can't see or gauge the reaction of the recipient, unless he's lurking on the forum and having a snigger or two at chuff's expense, that's just plain stooopid!

Don't take any notice boy - and keep on creating your good work!

Hi Marty, I wouldn't take any notice of what was said in that email. The fact that people download and use your content speaks for itself. The majority of people do appreciate your work and they are the ones whose opinions matter.
