This does stink

:'( I knew My HD was on its way out so I backed up My main design Bloomfield RR..This was very big..I have been working on it for over a year so of corse I dident want to loose it..But gess what..It looks like I did..What I did was to back it up was make a CDP..of both the map and the session..and all other dependents linked to it..burnt them to a disk so I would have them when the time comes to reinstall TRS 2010E...Well that time came..New HD 1 T this time..loaded up trainz 2010E got out the back up disk ran that still missing 6 items..for the RR but It also tells me it is missing the MAP... :'( :'( and I cant load it in the editer...I could live with out the 6 items I most likely wouldent miss them, if you know what I mean...So what are mr options from here??? Im at a loss please help me...Oh,, All my other plans have the same thing going on...that I made CDP to back them up..

First thought is have you patched trainz up to the version you had before? 44088 is the latest for 2010 as it sounds like you may have saved the route in a newer build.

If all Trainz related stuff fails, cant you just send it in somewhere to get the data recovered off the HD? Techies can work wonders at getting information back

Yup Just finished...I thought of that also ...Off to see if it helped...I will re load the map from the CDP file ..If I lose the session That won,t matter I needed to make a lot of changes in it anyhow..

Is the map you had in Content manager at all
generally under my stuff
as by the sound of it you are clicking on the session and then it is complaining about the map missing.....
if that is the case that is a bug and can be corrected

Loaded the patches..31.43 mins...Looks like that did the trick...Thanks for the help..
