I just want you to know Euphod...

1. First the Track

2. Terrain

3. Rivers and Streams...(now you know why I've had artist block, the trees hid it, the Streams)

4. Roads

5. Main Power Lines

6 Buildings.

7. Detail

1 & 2 are done, or at least I can do it.

BTW...need a Dollar General, or Family Dollar.

Oh yea, Euphod...

When I show a city/town with your building in it....

It will shut down the DLS.

Thanks Buddy, and I hope things are good for you.

Peace.

I'm gonna do a demo.

I'm gonna take this Pillsbury Plant....in a 1 to 3 4 how to do.

This Plant use to be on Level ground down in Ishpeming, MI, and this is the only almost leve ground I've found since then north of Bargara, MI.

You can get the Bulk of this plant on the download station (Keyword "pillsbury"), I merged it's tiles into this route...modifed it, cut and pasted it...and then....deleted the tile that it came on

Here we are..

And for those of you that know what I'm talking bout....Lamp Post Linda.

Looks like sxit.

My experience with the 'Short Line Service' was excellent. Only took a few days to receive my order. Everything came as a single .CDP with all dependencies.

I am inferring from your post '6 Short Line Service locos'. If so please post pics of them upon delivery.

Perhaps my own Short Line could benefit from an expanded line up, and pics beyond the default 3 locos could really help me think about it.

If my inference is correct I would be particularly interested in any short line geeps you get.

Thank you, and sorry about diverging this thread.

I figured the Google warehouse would make my feeble reskins redundant, but at your word I am glad to see you still have a use. I'll take your Dollar store request under advisement when I start creating again. Thanks, your route is destined for greatness.

If you Don't mind please feel free to post a picture of your Jointed Rail Short Line Units here. I'd really like to see them.

Wonder if this Pig will fly.

I was working on the Celotex Plant in L'Anse today, and the Yarn road Just really didn't work. For like private factory up north roads.

Not really.....

Some of those models are not quite up to par. Plus they don't have night mode like yours do.

And I'm not going to learn that.

Here's a how too by Wawasoo....Water on Hills.

Applies in the Upper United States and Canada.

Yr Stream vs YR Stream Paint...VS Splines.

So you have a stream going up and down a hill or mountian...and you want it to look realistic.....YR Stream Paint. I'll show you how to do it in real time tonight.

We start with a DEM...and it has creeks and steams and rivers going down hill. We are going to use no less then 10 objects...paint, rocks trees to make it look real.

YR Stream Paint was Created by Me. Here's the DEM with Track, Road and a Bullding in place.

First we'll just take a look at YR Stream Paint...

On the Left is YR Stream Paint....forever in this conversation refered to as YRSP....

On the Left it was just layed down with the paint brush tool covering an area.

On the Right it was layed down holding the "{" causing the paint to be Spun around in circles on itself. This is important to spin paint....as it blends it.

And as you are spinning it...you make a sweeping motion with your mouse as if you were really painting.

This is Critical.....

Many paint colors in Tranz create a patteren that once you lay down a few tiles the pattern is obvious and looks like Crap. Below is YRSP ver 1 and you can see the pattern. You will aslo notice from my paint setting I'm drawing in full scale. The unique things about YRSP is that as it is currently defined, and there is a pattern...it's not near as visable...even if not "[" Spun.
