Wasn't that Dionne Warwick ?
Sigh, was that song dedicated to my new Trainz frustration?
Here's the skinny:
I lay track, add assets, tweak a bridge here, a tunnel there and all is well.
Upon returning to previous portions of track, I see a junction where the branch track is now skewed halfway across my map and connected to a far junction in some other section (sometimes 5-6 baseboards away). The original branches are gone and only a stub left where it/they once joined.
Stop, don't even tell me my 286 processor can't handle it - please. I've added RAM
. (I'm actually running a pretty slick machine, I don't think my RAM/processing is an issue).
So, looking at some of these tips and tricks, I believe (but not yet tested) the fact that using the CTRL-Z (undo) function could be the culprit. I'll have to break an old habit (me being very fastidious about my maps) of undo-ing and instead just delete the last mistakes.
Could there be any other culprits ?
Say a Little Prayer for Me
(another Dionne Warwick song, methinks)
Measure_Twice (lay track once)
