The Susquehanna Railroad Screenshots.

Buffalo_trains93

It's snowy here.
Hey Guys,

I created this Thread so that all the guys working on the Susquehanna project with Mr. Scott and myself could have a place to post their pics.

Here are a few of mine. This is from West Nanticoke and the surrounding area,

This is the station, as you can see there is a lot of work to be done. As with the town and other towns aswell.

Another shot;

Finally looking towards West Nanticoke and the portal;

Please understand that I am very critical with my work. If I do not like something I completely re-do it. Therefore the work you see done is nothing compared to what it is now, and what it will be. I posted these screenshots which were taken on Thursday. I assure you alot more has been done.

Take care,

Ryan:wave:

Super Job ! Is that a driveable jet plane, on invisatrack set in the sky ? The PRR station signs, I suggested to the great Trainz/GMax master: GFisher to create...Teamwork...all for one...one for all:cool:

To Cascade, Yes, there is a track up there if you have a plane and want an overhead veiw. I am experimenting with it, and we will see how far it goes.

Mr. Scott. I am using the Tundra trees from Greenry.name (I butchered the spelling) The station has more done to it, with more signs and such. I belive there are also some on the DLS. Today will be soley spent hunting the DLS for items I need.

Again, I am not only sorry for the Delay on getting the screenshots up but also on their lack of content seen. I assure you that it is much more than seen here.

Take care,

Ryan:wave:

I feel I've finished all I can do with the West Nanticoke area. In the short term...my plans are to have a power station at Hunlock Creek and a lumber mill at Shickshinny.

Outstanding work you guys! I loved the simplicity of the route before the foliage, but dang! This makes it look 10x better. Keep up the great work Buffalo_trains and MrScott!

Great work !

You could lay invisatrack in the center of the river channel, just slightly above the water surface, at @ 500', and fly low level terrain flying missions up and down the river, just like millitary Warthog jet aircraft do from Ft Indiantown Gap Pa. Looks cool in cab view (flying) on a A23 Jetsled (my favorite high speed vehicle)...( has great cab view...no windshield or interior)...great for track inspection at high speeds at 697 mph !:cool:

I might, like I said, I'm still experimenting with what I do and do not like. I'm working on a small yard and hump station as we speak so we'll see how it goes. Sorry I'm not following prototypically but without a guy placing the industries and such I decided I'd throw some small one in there. I do plan on putting a much larger yard later down the line. We'll see how it goes, more screens later tonight or tomorrow.

Take care,

Cam, thank you for the kind comment. As promised here are some more screenshots. Again, they aren't the best and I'm sorry for that, but I am trying to do the best I can here, these were taken Friday evening. Again, more work has been done, but this is a rough idea of what is going on. (I accdentally deleted the sign that said what the town was:eek: So unfortunatley I more or less made it a truck stop;) )

Here we go;

From atop a hill overlooking the small yard, we see 3 Southern Pacific Fruit cars being thrown onto an awaiting train.

A small power move of a Southern Pacific train heads up to the Northern end of the yard to grab it's awaiting cargo.
mrscott14.jpg

This is a shot of the uncompleted yard and truck/rest stop, a hotel, and playground aswell as a pool have been added and the yard has also been expanded. The yard also has a hump to process trains.
mrscott11.jpg

(Sorry for that being open:confused: I forgot to close it, I have my own blond moments sometimes:hehe: )

These next shots are just some of me messing around with a consist and running the route. This one is from Thursday.
mrscott9.jpg

This is a shot I really liked, aswell as the picture above. SP taking a fruit train, turns the bend to head towards West Nanticoke. (This was taken on Thursday aswell)

I will have more screenshots later,

Take care,
