The Frisco High Line

Great shots, and I especially like that last one! You seem to be great at capturing the feeling of distance and wide open spaces on your route.

May I ask about the car and gas station in the last shot?

Search for author bengolle and the vehicle category. There are several on the DLS.

Three MKT SD40-2's make their way through Clinton with coal cars bound for a Missouri Public Service Power Plant.

I appreciate everyone's comments.

Here's some updated pics of Bolivar with the addition of Deane's awesome work. During his business trip to Missouri the MFA elevator caught his eye in Bolivar. It's a mirror image of the real thing. Great talent and a lot of hard work Deane!

That really looks perfect, you got one hell of a partner for making a realistic route! Well done!

Folks in Clinton are still trying to figure out who was driving that flashy German car through town last Sunday. There's just no way it could have been a local...

Obviously an executive from the Burlington Northern sizing up the acquisition...

"Ma, get yer shotgun!!! Some stuck up uncle pete-yahoo from Cheyenne's comin' to steal our Miss Katy!!!" D:<

sorry, As the resident MKT lover 'round here, I couldn't resist. If you don't mind, I'm gonna go back to polishing my K-10 2-8-0. You'll soon see her trundling around
clinton, BTW (route's gotta get released, though). :D

Pics of Mercedes SL Gullwing removed
Hmmmm.. I love that... Somebody had a lot of money for back then.. I think this is for surely a BN job, since UP did not to MKT over untill 1988.. In 1988 (unless he has a classic) SL gullwings were a rarity (Not that they were back in 1954-55) But I love that somebody has a flashy sports car love... (Hmmm... Better find that classice 550 Porsche.. I bet it would look good also) Great shots man, Keep it up!

may I ask where that dino gas station came from, or is it a custom reskin?

Yes it's a reskin. Thanks to leeferr for letting me reskin it and upload to the DLS. It should be available anytime.

Your the first to ask about that. I'm not sure about the rest of the country but those stations were popular around here. I remember I had one up the street from me as I kid. I was always memorized by the huge green dinosaur out front. At least it seemed big to me as a kid. :D
