Look's like we have a mystery on our hands! I'll go with Velma, you take Shaggy and Scooby and go around back!:hehe:

Derrick, I don't know if you're still active, but I found a few more things you may be able to use:

Emblem, Bridges and Buildings, Frisco 3, Weathered (That's the lettering on the bridge) and Emblem, Bridges and Buildings, Frisco 4, Weathered (that's the emblem on the abutment).

You okay Derrick? Long time no post!

If you're worried that I expect you to use the above content, don't be! I do miss your screens though!;)
I just throw out stuff at random, it's hit and miss, and you certainly aren't obligated.:)

Ah, I remember that bridge. A train derailed and slid down the embankment on the left a few years ago. My dad's old office is just to the right out of frame. His window overlooked that bridge. I never got to see much traffic, mostly unit coal and grain trains.

Loving the route so far. I'm a sucker for anything Missouri related.

I suspect Derrick is just busy with work (started his new job recently).

Until he returns, here's a little church I'm currently making for the layout. I don't think he's even seen this yet.
It's by the State Highway about 600m north of Cliquot, Missouri. Model is not quite finished yet.

I'm wondering why it doesn't have a Christian cross on it, but that's how it is in the photos that Derrick took.

Everything's good with me Ed and thanks for asking. Deane is correct. I've taken a new job about a month ago and feel like I'm being pulled from every direction lately but it's all good. I still feel I made the right decision and that's the important part. A fair amount of additional money and I think it will be a nice addition to my resume. I'm going to rack up a lot of windshield time but the cool thing is the entire Frisco Highline route that I'm modeling runs right through my sales territory. I'll also be covering SE Kansas which should have a lot of BNSF, KCS, and UP activity if I ever get a chance to stop and look around while I'm on the road. :)

The bridges look great! I might have to find a place for them. What location is that last bridge modeled after? It looks very familiar. I've think I've seen pics of it before and if I remember correctly it was a fairly unique design for the Frisco.

I'm not sure myself but that does bring up an interesting question. I think there are a lot of small rural churches here in the Midwest that do not have them. Can't wait to get this church on my route!

Church in Cliquot, Mo.

Thanks again goes out to Deane for his quality work. This is Salem Missionary Baptist Church in Cliquot, Mo. Built in 1859. The High Line ran right to the east of the church.
