It's 1956 and Missouri State Hwy O in Polk county is now paved. There's a new concrete bridge too and someone decided to take advantage of the smooth road in his prized Oldsmobile.

Sorrry kamran. I missed your post. Yes it's by gfisher. It was available at USLW.com but I'm not sure if it's still there. Let me check when I get home from work and I'll give you a kuid. That should help your search.

It's one (in fact, the first one) of my Funky Roads. Its on USLW's site. Since the changing of the guard, however, it appears to have been mislabeled along with the other Funky Roads. Instead of Z Funky Road 1, it's called ZF FunkyRoad1. You'll find it near the end of the scenery objects. At least it still has the right thumbnail.

"Bucolic" is the word that comes to mind. A hot summer day in a pastoral setting only interrupted briefly by the passing train. In a moment, the noise will pass, and the cows will lower their heads once more into the grass. The dog will find something to chase, and the frogs and insects will sing their way into the hot afternoon. I can hear the dragonflies humming by already!

Great shots dricketts, your detailed work really does tell a story. By the look and color of that 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] sky I’d say some very severe weather is brewing. I recently learned from one of our local weather guys that the greenish aqua color that people associate with tornado skies is caused by the presence of hail in the cloud. The 3[SUP]rd[/SUP] shot really conveys that calm before the storm feeling.

I myself have seen a wide range of colors before the storm. Here in the Midwest some of the most ominous skies can be the most beautiful.

Derrick, do you run Trainz with the gamma set low? The pics always seem dark compared to what I normally see on screen. Not saying it's bad, just trying to understand the difference.
