I'm a little confused with.....screenshotting at the moment, so I may be using links, for now.

This is the small, but cool little route I finished, completing my ambition of completing at LEAST ONE
route, last Sunday.

The really cool station is round the hill.

I hope you guys like it. :)

The engine btw, incase anyone wants to know, is the UK WD Austerity, the coaches are pullmans.

You are off to a nice start!

Small suggestion:
When applying the textures, use a very small brush and keep the [ or ] button pushed. This will reduce / remove the "checker block" effect you now see in the texture.

Good luck with your route building!

This isn't actually my first route, I've got to admit, I'm sort of well.....lazy. Lots of routes still in progress, maybe until the end of time... :o

Good start. Keep it up!

Click on the option Direct.

It will momentarily go yellow and say Copied.

In the Trainz Forum reply box click on the Insert Image icon. A dialog box will open. RMB/Paste your copied Photobucket Link into the URL slot, say OK, and it will be automatically placed in your post.

Thank you. Time to be awesome :D(At least chatting lol)

oknotsen's tip is good for making cliff sides as well, put the radius dial to the smallest point possible, and put the scale dial to the largest point possible. Now draw onto any steep sided planes, with the square bracket button on the keyboard pressed down, and experiment with different textures, some work out better than others.

Happy Trainzing.
