The Erecting Hall Screenshot thread

Out of interest I know The Erecting Hall group is building the C&O Allegheny route.

Thank You for your interest,

Indeed we are working on the Allegheny Sub. We are using a custom made DEM that starts a few miles west of Hinton and goes East a few miles of Clifton Forge Va. This encompasses parts of the New River Sub, Greenbrier sub, Hot Springs Sub, Mountain Sub, and James River Sub.

However, I haven't amassed the documents from the C&O Historical Society that the EHG has.

Well, I guess that would be a yes. They do seem to know us on a first name basis now. We needed accurate drawings for such things as Coal Docks, Tunnel faces, and Stations. We even purchased the correct fonts for the station name boards.

I will follow this thread with interest. Keep up the brilliant work.

Thanks!

GE E60 for trainz?

I am hoping for a GE E60 to be made for trainz I just hope one day a member of the trainz community will think "Let's make a GE E60" could it be TEH who makes it? Honestly though. Trainz needs an E60 currently the only E60 in trainz is currently made by drchoi21 (unless anyone has one WIP) and the mesh is lacking detail and a few errors because it was made in sketchup.

Will this include the Cane Fork yard? I picked up a book on the C&O when i was last in Beckley VA at the Tamarack, has some beautiful photos of a lot of different areas.

anyways

I haven't weathered in a while but I would call this successful... heavier weathering up front, lighter in back. Probably will throw a bit more dirt on the nose on both units.

Cheers,
