The Erecting Hall Screenshot thread

It's not overly tall though. It seems that eastern engines are shorter by default though than western engines. For example, look at the New York Centeral's Niagara. It is noticeably shorter than a comparable western locomotive, say an FEF series engine. If anything, the Frisco-style air tanks on top seem to make up most of its height. I do like the look of it though.

I love the work you've done on the engine though, at some point I really should modify my GS-2 into some other sort of fictional locomotive.

And of course if you ever need someone to perform rigorous and highly scientific tests on the engine... I'm only a PM away! :hehe:

I have made a roundhouse kit based on the 1905-1910 Hinton WV roundhouse.It consists of an 80 ft. manually operated turn turntable (the poles out the
ends are to push on). A left-side stall, a right-side stall, a center stall, and a turntable stub track. I well be sharing some pictures of it. oh, and the grass in the background is mine too but that won’t bein the release, sorry. Enjoy Don
