The Diversity of Power on Highland

It's no problem LVman. I got them through a friend who had them. Landrvr made them before he left and now they're hard to come by.

I like your thinking! Highland should have a way to interchange with other roads.

Feel free to contact me by AIM or e-mail, I'm pretty interested in your idea.

As I stated before I like the looks of the new route. I like the story.

As for the landrvr1 interburban cars. They are on the dls. Look for ChicagoTraction-Pack1. Make sure to check PreSP3 Trainz.

Neat pics and story tbob;

For the traction pack after downloading them look at the thread here on the forums about them, I inform you how to get them to work in TRS2006.

I already have fixed them so they work in 06. I just dont remember most of what needed to be done to make them work.

Are you planning on releasing your version of highland? If so cool.

It's back!

Yes smash, I do plan on releasing Highland, hopefully before summer break.

In the mean time...

I have reintroduced freight to Highland. DRX purchased a former Conrail GP9 and RS11, and an ex-Norfolk Southern GP38-2 high-hood for local services. Sidings were installed in three locations; Highland, Stormont, and Robbins. Freight trains are usually hauled by the two geeps paired up with the ALCo prepared to assist if any problems arise. The locomotives are stored at the Highland turntable. Freight services are only permitted to run between 11PM and 4AM, so as not to interfere with passenger operations. After taking the freight down the Afton Branch, the train heads to Lumby where either Norfolk Southern or Canadian Pacific will pick it up. I'm still working on the sidings, but I do have them partially done. In this series of pictures, the crew brings the power onto the branch, picks up freight, and heads down the way. I'm saving a full story for when I'm done. So please, enjoy, and tell me what you think.

Howdy all,

The freight service on Highland did not last long. The three customers complained about inconvenient shipping times and slow service. So DRX ripped up the sidings, sold off the three diesels, and sold the freight cars to CN.

Here we see the last freight on the line...

But, with the money made off the sold equipment, DRX and the Lumby Bijou theatre finally had the funds to purchase the Highland Valley Dinner and Movie train. Headed by an ex-PRR E8 and ex-BN E9, this train consists of four former Broadway Limited cars, a kitchen lounge, two dining cars, and an observation car. Here we see the train on a test run outside Highland.

All of them

All of the Movie train cars are in TRS2006. I only now of one PRR coach that comes with it, but those look different. Tbob, where do they come from?

From ProTrainz's Broadway Limited pack for Gold members only. And another question: How do I get them to work in TRS2006?

I don't know Brian, I simply selected and dragged the pack contents into the CMP, it installed the assets. I selected them all, commited them, checked for missing dependencies, and they work just fine.

Not with me. I took the dining car into CMP and these two errors showed.

The tag 'number_high' is not permitted within this container. (container type 'traincar')
The tag 'number_low' is not permitted within this container. (container type 'traincar')

How can I fix this?

Good Dining Cars

I am making my own version of the Highland, but I need a good looking american diner and observation car. Freeware please. Help?

Thanks

I looked there, but wasn't excited. While exploring railyard though, I came across CP Budd cars. Perfect. Thanks for directing me so.
