The classic German Festivals aka Black Forest route

I'm in a bit of a nostalgic Trainz moment. For anyone who has been playing Trainz since the early versions of the game like UTC, 2004 or 2006, you're probably familiar with the original layouts built by Auran, based on different regions of the world. One of those is called German Festivals, well-known as The Black Forest. If I had to rank it, it probably would be my favorite of the early TRS layouts.

A very scenic, timeless vignette of the German countryside, with farms, mountains, forests, industries, a village and a castle out of a fairy tale. I'm grateful that Hiawathamr put the work in to remaster German Festivals/The Black Forest up to TRS22 standards, when the original route available for PC on the DLS is no longer available, likely superseded by the release for mobile devices.

I'm curious to know what you all's opinions/takes on the German route are and other ideas you like having for it, such as the ways you've may have expanded or reworked the route in your own ways?

Was this route included in TRS 2010?

The one set in snow/winter?

If so it always was crashing on my rig. To the point that I just ignored it because I grew tired of performing databank repairs.

Yes, Black Forest shipped with all Trainz versions as built-in until TS12.

The German winter route was called Winter in Germany, it is a different one that came with TS2009 and TS2010.

I had the same problem with it as well. A while back, I took a look at the route in TANE and there was something corrupted with one of the baseboards. I didn't bother to do anything with it and deleted the route.
