Great shots guys! Michael, kingstonflyer, excellent stuff from you both. Ken, I can really relate to that one of yours having lived on the prairies with its grain elevators most of my life.

Cheers, Jack

Nice work on those elevators Ken, and thanks for that link. There are a lot of good pictures there!

I'm glad you posted that shot of yours here Matt. Very nice! Thanks.

Cheers, Jack

Looking good there Norm! I need to drive Cayden's route more.

Apparently there's an electrical problem with the headlights or the guy at the controls forgot to turn them on.
Cheers, Jack

Well well well where to start ? From post #3016 to 3025 all we got is superb shot. Ken with grain elevator I like them and my preferred one is the last from post #3025 with the crossing. Jack I that shot with the reeds is calming and your route is progressing well ! Kingstonflyer ...what can we say what you post is always as someone says: ''HD killing Superdetailer'' :o.
Norm, as I said in another thread, we are always amazed with your shot even if we do not reply. Matt you got lost don't you with a CP consist running on your IRM route ...nah you just came here North to make a visit which is warmly accepted.
Cheers,
Rail4Pete

LOL Thanks, even though that route I was using for that shot was not the IRM one, it was on Scratchy's Coal County Route. :hehe:

It is remarkably difficult to track down a C.P.R. Steam Locomotive roster. I've found bits and pieces but no cohesive and complete roster.

I've been trying to match BDANeal's Northern Pacific F1 with some locomotive from the C.P. roster

Today I found this http://www.okthepk.ca/dataCprSiding/articles/201402/month00.htm

They appear to somewhat resemble each other both had 51" drivers and were within 80,000lbs total weight but it would be good if there were a locomotive that was closer. Suggestions welcome.

At this point I'm going to re-number/re-letter to match the 673 engraving.

Ken, I am really liking those shots with the grain elevators! Your last one is especially nice. The F units looks good. I wish CN had kept the green and yellow.

Wish I could help you with CPR steam, Norm, but I am pretty ignorant in that area.

Cheers, Jack

Canada and USA!

f27n1Sf.jpg

On a drizzly morning at Greenwood, Alberta a Via Rail Canada F40PH-2D accelerates a passenger train while a container train passes on the opposing track. Coming off the branch is a commuter train using a leased Metroliner cab car, two Amfleet coach class coaches and an F40PH from Amtrak. (Hence the title of this post being Canada and USA!)

Thanks for the compliment Ken. That's from an area I did long ago but since I haven't had a lot of time in the last month I had to resort to showing old stuff.

Erik, what can I say? Simply gorgeous! Well done!!

PereMarquette1225fan, nice one from you.

East of Bradwell here. It's the same location as the one with the beer drinker in the boat but I've added another boat.
Cheers, Jack
