Your last shot is coming very close to looking like a photograph Pierre. Very nice!

Here's a westbound with some crop dusting going on just to the north.

A CN train disappears around the curve heading east while CP goes west. The crossing is MP 236 of the CN Watrous sub and MP 48.67 of the CP Wilkie sub.

Those are good shots escd84 and Rail4Pete!

As for my route, the CN Watrous sub, I have about 70 miles done out of 247. Don't know if I'll ever get finished but that's OK. I like working in surveyor.

Cheers,
Jack

Another great shot Chris. You're doing a fine job with that route.

Mile 238.58 on the Watrous sub, a track supervisor inspects his truck after putting it on the rails. A terrific truck justinroth! Thanks!

Great work and thank you for our new toy justinroth! Breathtaking scene ATSF854. Maybe a couple details about your route please :) Also to the other, fantastic job, keep it up!

ATSF 854. Those CPR Script SD40's are gorgeous, cannot wait to purchase. Maybe you could apply the same scheme to your beautiful GP9's?

Thanks

I managed to convince Vulcan to build us a Vancouver Harbour air traffic control tower (Waterfront Centre, 200 Granville Sq.) also known as YHC.

Complete with dedicated staff.

I'm sure it will find a home in your Vancouver route if it hasn't already.

I place an invisible track circuit just outside the handrail and add an invisible camera (by nzld). It allows you to get a good look from the tower in Driver.

escd86, I'd love to see some screen shots from this tower on your route. I'm impressed by many of your other screen shots of late.

Thank you very much, you both made my day! Damn great job by Vulcan, looks great and fits perfectly!

Thank you Rob for the info, I look too rare on the DLS what's new. But it has found a place! Inspierende photos you have incidentally. The corner can be seen at your pics is difficult to build, I hang there already for ages. Everywhere these yacht berths, harder and more boring than the entire terminals in the region. I'll watch your proposal with the invisible track on occasion. Now I know how you have the photos get. Was busy for ages to get a reasonably good from up there. Shame on me! I have for that the images from the distance.

Great shots! Vancouver Harbour is looking awesome!
See the thread below for a bit more about the invisible loco & track for around the Airport control towers and anything else that makes sense.

There is an explanation from Vulcan followed by a practical example from me.

I have many travel photos from Vancouver. Maybe some of them will help you with your wonderful route. These are from 2008.

Above is the Brockton Lighthouse. The suspension bridge in the background is the Lion's Gate Bridge.
The next few photos are taken from the Vancouver Lookout (Harbour Centre).

Thank you for your helpful pictures Rob! This looks like a lot of new work on the route. :D

And as I see, are 2008 6 container cranes at DP World Terminal. My sources contain only 4. I'm going to see when the have expanded. Even the parking garage at Ballantyne Pier with the connection to the Heatly road there is not yet there.

Those are good looking units ATSF854 and a nice scene that you show them in.

escd84, those shots of Vancouver are very good. I like that first shot from up in the control tower. What a view!

Cheers,
Jack
