The Canadian Thread - Hi-Res images

Hello all;
Well my shoulder replacement surgery is done. Yea no more pain! It is going to take up to 3 months of physiotherapy to regain full mobility. Doing anything in Trainz is hard with the right arm in a sling. What I have done is look through the archives and found two old favorites. Checking DLS shows updates.

These are not my creations, I have messed with them a bit.

So for today, two shots from Port Tillamook RR. Port Tillamook was first created by madtrainz14 for TRS 2010 from dermmy`s map, updated to TS12 by stouthm. (madtrainz14s version is called Port Tillomook, a spelling error, perhaps.)

From dermmy`s website: checkrail.com:
"PORT OF TILLAMOOK BAY RR: Tillamook Bay - Banks OR. This route has just about every scenically spectacular element possible - from the Port of Tillamook the line heads northwards along a cliff-hugging coastline firstly of the bay, then the Pacific Ocean before cutting inland and threading a series of deep valleys and gorges. The line has numerous water crossings and the terrain forces the line to loop back on itself time and time again."

Should I post more?

Michael throws shots look grate show us more bro.

Hi Rick. Didn't think you guys out east would appreciate the winter scene too much today. Sunny and the snow is melting here in Saskatoon today. This scene is from a route I started ages ago and dropped. It was actually a summer scene at first and I changed the textures, etc. to make it a winter one for my desktop. Good idea about lowering the tracks, thanks. Some old GMD-1s, ten hundreds, as we used to called them when I worked for CN. When I got Trainz I couldn't find any so made my own. The quality sucks when you get up close and the cab is plain as can be. They still need a lot of work but I haven't had the time to do much to them.

I should mention that Dave Snow made some very nice GMD-1s, with some nice skins by btvfd and dericm. Thanks to those gentlemen.

Great shots from you and everyone else posting here.

Cheers, Jack

Jaw dropped.....that last shot is sublime Rick ! Michael, keep it up ! And I also like to use this CP road-switcher. I'm waiting for Simulatortrain to reskin it with block lettering as I make my route a couple of years before CP start to use script lettering.
Cheers!
