This time, the theme is ALCO's, as it seems to be a popular subject.

It's not really as much a fan club as it is a discussion of ALCO locomotives.
That's how the "E" and "F" unit fan club works as well.

I am now trying to keep threads as simple as possible to eliminate controversy and annoyances.

Let's just try to keep this thread on topic, as I don't want to get back into old arguments that ended a long time ago.

My favorite locomotive is the RS-3.

I remember seeing lots of these when I was a kid. That was when Alco was still in business and being in New York State, they had a lots of business from the local roads including the Boston and Maine, Maine Central, New Haven, NYC, L&HR, DLW, Erie, Lehigh Valley, and of course the CNJ.
