That Supposed Amtrak 40th Anniversary Tour Train

Off the Deep End
Hello, all. I have read in magazines and online that Amtrak is going to have a train that will tour the country this year for their 40th birthday, and they also said that they would release a schedule of the locations at which this train would stop. Well, National Train Day is coming up very soon and there still is no list, could anyone shed some light on this and where this train will stop? (I am really wondering if there are any stops in Colorado).

Oh that is not cool on Amtrak's part.
So, if I wanted to see it, I would have too travel to the East Coast?!!?!

Amtrak has stated in a couple press releases that it will be traveling the country, they just haven't figured out the dates yet on the other cities.

What makes you think that that is the final list of stops the train will make?
The last good thing the pittsburgh area got railroad related wise was the NS business train (which I didn't get a picture of...stupid highschool graduation ceremony)

I would assume they would do it pretty soon as May 7 and Amtrak Day are soon to be apon us.
(Also, 2 days till May 1)

according to the station master at my local station; they will not have the details about the 40th train until May 5th or 6th.
