Thank's allot Auran,not only have you changed all my account details,nothing is registered to my new details,you can only register once with a serial number.
Sort this mess out,trainsimulator central has deleted my 2004,2006,2012 serial numbers,not to mention anything relating to my kickstarter.
No first class ticket,which i paid for,or the many offers in my old account/discount.

I will not hesitate to instruct Visa to reclaim any monies owed to me,I'm not wasting any more of my time.

Why would you do this without sending me an email,to say account has been deleted/changed

WHy is my post saying 1 post,why is my kickstarter badge not here,why is this saying trainz member,Im a veteran.
 
It's no good jumping up and down stamping your feet, put another ticket in explaining what's not happened.

without a fullstop,forget it,account closed.
 
If my memory serves me well I think he was tads. Sim central wouldn't have the . as a log in.

I was logged in at trainsimcentral as tads.,I could not get past checkout because of this.and could not edit username because of greyed out.
I have had this username since 2004.

Im not confused,Pi@@ poor cummunication from the person who changed my account without an email to say what they have done.
 
I had an issue recently where SC wouldn't accept my password. The same password I use here and have for the past decade. I ended up resetting my password, which confused me for about a week, and now everything is fine. Maybe during a server upgrade, more secure and longer usernames and passwords is now required for security reasons.

I think you misunderstand John,resetting a password is one thing,a whole account and serials is another.Since there is nothing linked to my old account and nothing of kickstarter
displaying on a new account,remember all the links for the goods were sent hotlinking-to tads. account<<<<with a fullstop.

All this hassle for a full stop,i'm drained,Just refund me my $55,and I'l be on my way.

Not at all misunderstanding. I know that a password is one thing. Heck I used to be an IT guy at one time. No more now that I'm retired and don't have to deal with that stuff anymore! (G-rated words here...) To me it sounds like something got broken on the server side which is what I said. Why did my SC account go tits up as well and I had to fix that? I'm sure others have had the same problem, but don't know it yet. You're issue too doesn't sound right either and makes me suspicious. In the IT world, a one-off technical problem with a user is just that, a one off problem. When more than one person starts complaining about issues, then there's a problem that needs to be addressed at a higher level. I worked in IT for close to 25 years and this has always been the case.

All I can say is tell the helpdesk. Spiffy should be able to fix that as that's his domain at N3V.

Hi Daz,

Do us a favor and try logging in as tads1. If that has become your account, then things will work. I noticed, after looking at your post regarding the Kickstarter, that your username has a full stop or period on the end. I had to look twice because they're about the size of an ant footprint on my screen!

Perhaps too again, this is a no-no on the server end and it does not accept these as legal characters in usernames.

There's nothing like giving something a try, right?

As per Felix's reply to your ticket, to resolve the login issue with our websites (which no longer allow fullstops), your username was changed to 'tads1'. This would have been done, since another account with the username 'tads' already existed, and it is not possible to have two accounts with the same username.

As such, you will need to log in using the username "tads1", as this is the correct username for the account that your Trainz serial numbers are registered too.
