Tenders for Engines

Hi all, could someone please tell me where I will find the tenders for the engines that I have downloaded.........Thanks.

If you are downloading using CM, you might try putting tender in the search box. A lot of tender assets have almost the same name as the matching loco, with the word tender added.

You need to look in the Rolling Stock section of the DLS

This is not correct, a tender should not be in the rolling stock section. If it is in the rolling stock section it will uncouple from the loco when doing a run around.
Tenders have a category of their own, look under "train tender".

Category "Train Tender" is for searching in the ContentManager. Category "Rolling Stock" is for searching at the DLS website.

Tenders made at the same time as the loco often have a kuid either one more or one less than the loco. The exception to this is when a general type of tender was used instead of one dedicated to that loco. Either way, once you have the right loco and tender combination I suggest you place them on the track and save them as a consist. It makes it a lot easier to find in surveyor. I do this for all steam locos and also for locos where there are several paint schemes for the same loco and tender. It is easy to place the consist and then delete the paint schemes I don't want then to hunt through them in that tiny asset picker window.

I wish more creators would make a consist and upload it as well as the loco and tender. It would be a dream to download the consist and get both.

Tenders have the tag engine 0 so as not to uncouple on run around. The engine has tag engine 1.

Hi stagecoach,

If you check I think you will find that the tag to stop a tender form uncoupling on runaround command is "tender 1" Just about all rolling stock has the "engine 0" tag.
