Temporarily out of trainz, due to computer blowout.

Hi all,
On Tuesday my computer stopped working due to what I believe was my graphics blowing out. I'm currently working on buying a new computer which I hope to buy on Sunday. I'm not completely sure if any of my content on the downed computer is still there.Hopefully its still there. I don't plan to get anything done for a few weeks.

What exactly happened?

If it's only your video card then there's nothing to worry about regarding your content. If the rest of your computer is okay then you can save a lot of money with just purchasing a video card instead of a whole new computer.

One of the advantages of having Trainz on an external HDD is that if your computer goes, you can migrate Trainz over to your new computer without any reinstallation hassle.

@JCitron: basically it won't open up past the optiplex startup, a friend said something similar happened to him when his graphics blew out, so I suspect that. I'm not only replacing it because of the graphics blowout, I will have to replace the motherboard to get a better graphics so this won't happen again, plus the computer I have is extremely old and needs a major upgrade.
@Scottbe8: I've been recommended to do it, and it turns out that I have one that hasn't been used yet so I most likely will do that.
