Despite living about half way round the world from the prototype, my interest has been caught by the above and I'm thinking of using as a basis for a "protolanced" standard gauge version of the route in TS2010. Exactly what I look for in creating a route - modest but functional infrastructure and scenery beyond spectacular. Also gives the added possibility later of reinstating the rest of the line to Cromwell, now used as a hiking trail.
However I'm having difficulty confirming whether anyone has already done the route for an earlier version. Dave Drake has created Dundedin station (an excellent start for the project!) and the Trainzone site appears to show pictures of the station buildings at Wingatui, but as I'm looking from work can't access the full site thanks to Websense
A search of the DLS and indeed the forum doesn't throw up any obvious existing versions unless these are lurking under an alias. I know there's a MSTS version and I believe someone was working on a RS/RW version but presently surprised to see a vacant slot for Trainz...
