Taconite Plant

This is for Bendorsey, but others can chime in.
The Taconite plant is setup with both SG and NG trackage. The standard gauge is at the lower level and loads contents into hopper cars which works ok.
It is the upper part that needs addressing!
1. The approach track is narrow gauge.
2. Ore cars will not dump their load.
3. It does not seem to indicate a unloading section.
4. Is there specific hopper or ore cars that are compatible with the Plant for unloading?
Any and all suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Hi Richard:

I used 36 Orecar Type 3 TRS to test the 3 ft ga unload operation on top.

The unload on top is set up for a moving unload. As long as the car is going less the 5 MPH it will unload. The unload point is in the center of the big window (so you can see the position of the full car) but the trigger radius will cause the car to unload a little closer to the door then the exact center.

Taconite unloading follow up

Hello again Ben. Iam having no luck. Tried your suggestion but no unload.
I hope I have the latest plant configuration. There is one on the DLS that I can not down load for some reason. Whats next.

Hi again:

The version (kuid2:210518:1275:3) is the latest and the one on the DLS. I just tested it and it worked.

Do you have the product? Iron (kuid2:30671:9260111:2)?

If you are unable to download it, PM me your e-mail address and I will send you the CDP.

If others are having the same problem I will re-upload it but I find that odd as its been on the dls for quite sometime.
