Switches all go to Double Red Arrows when session is saved and reloaded???

Ok, I am using the Trainz 2010 (build 49933)

I have built a route and everything works perfectly while driving the route. When you go to save the session everything seems to work fine. The issue is that when I reload the saved session, every switch on the route has double red arrows and are non functional, which also causes the AI trains to stop and shoe "no path to destination"

Any Ideas? Is this a setting I am missing or maybe the Layers are done incorrectly??

Try deleting each connecting track to that switch, one at a time, using the same type track but make sure you do this in the Route Layer. I think I read somewhere that all track work should be done in the Route Layer. Hope some one with more knowledge with this problem will chime in here. This has happened to me and I replaced all the connecting track to the offending switch in Route Layer and solved my problem. Good luck.

Ok, that does make a little sense, I suppose if I would have taken the time to read as you did I could have saved myself the heartache ... LOL I will test a few things and let you know. I have been doing all of the work in the session editor .. so your thoughts on this would explain a lot. Thanks very much.

Thank you Stouthm, I appreciate your help, that was indeed the issue, I had everything saved under the session, not the route. I merged it all to the route and problem fixed. Thank The Lord for Merge. :)

Thats ok, wait till you get 2012, assuming you don't just jump into T:ANE. in '12, you get randomly disappearing bits of track and splines. Never objects, just splines.....

Ahh! so you get that too Falcus, I thought it was something I had done that caused track to disappear.

Yes, Trainz 12 looks amazing. It will be some time before I get to do that one I think. My computer is a bit underrated for 12. I have Trainz10 now, and I have to be real careful to regularly save or I loose my work or current drive progress because it is borderline min requirements.

If I hadn't just bought this computer I would go get a new computer just for this game. I sure wish I would have found this simulator sooner. I had the old Microsoft Train simulator, but it pails in comparison to this game.

Thanks again everyone.
