Surveyor Tutorial or Comprehensive Docs

I've been running thru the TS12 Manual Surveyor section. To be kind it is - adequate - just barely. I followed all the instructions and have a very basic handle on how to do things.

But there seems to be a lot missing. There's a lot of trial and error involved. Sometimes playing detective can be fun sometimes not.

Somewhere their must be tutorials or even comprehensive documentation with real detail on exactly what every button does and how to do it and tips on when to use each.

It's gotta be out there. Can someone point me to where?

Since I got my 1st Trainz copy (Trainz 12) about 1 year ago, I've worked in Surveyor for around 200 hours and I think I have learned the basics. But I have always wished there was a complete Surveyor for idiots manual. I am not an experienced computer programer. So if I run into a problem, I am pretty much screwed. I wish someone would make a tutorial on how to do more than just the basic stuff but so that a layman like me could understand.
