hi folks .. i am really puzzled on how to keep the schedule for my train drivers as when i set them up in surveyor and then switch to deriver they keep their schedules but when i log out of game for a few hours and then go back into it i have to redo all the scheduling in surveyor mode as the game doesn't keep the schedule once exiting game ..

my question is: how i set things up so the schedules are kept once i exit game for a break then go back into it? i am using "Trainz A New Era".. Build 105766

any help would be appreciated.

Sounds a bit odd, I presume you have created a session, saved it and reloaded? You can't run it via surveyor, exit and expect it to still be there, so a bit of clarity might help.

For clarity:
1. Develop your route (mostly fixed assets) in Surveyor, Route Edit... mode. Save your route with a descriptive name/ title.
2. Then, when you are ready to add drivers/ locos/ consists, etc. configure interactive industries, set junction state, and choose appropriate environmental settings for your scenario, select the named route, choose 'View Sessions' and then enter (Surveyor) Session Edit... mode by clicking on the 'Create Session' option (bottom right) to create a New Session.
3. Add all your variable assets to the route by placing them on the track or trackside and configure the driver commands/ session settings to suit and then SAVE your Session with a descriptive and distinctive name.
4. Test and refine (in Edit Session... mode) until you're happy with the performance and scenario sequence. Save your work frequently & constantly.
5. To drive the same session again, simply Select the route from the 'Select a route' menu, then choose the 'Select a session' option and 'Drive session' to run it.

Edit update: When you add Driver commands to the Driver Setup dialog in Session Edit mode, if you want the schedule of commands to repeat after all commands are executed in sequence (and assuming the Driver and his/her consist returns to the appropriate restarting spot) make sure you have appended the 'Repeat Schedule' command to the end of their command list. That way the list of commands in the schedule will persist and loop indefinitely.

thanks for the help .. will give it a try and see if it works for me :)

When you come back to a route, Do NOT edit the route, Select view sessions, and load the last session for edit. All the driver set up is in the route session.
