Surveyor Question

I am new to Trainz 2010 but have experimented with it allot. In surveyor I can allot of what I want. However I cannot find out how to increase the size of the area that I can build on. The layout/route I am designing is larger than the default size. When I go to the I beleive it is grid view I can see a large area displayed with the smaller square that is the current building size area. This would lead me to believe one can add ground or space to the existing building area. I need a large area. About four times bigger. How does one do this. The manual what there is of one does not cover this at all. In fact it barely covers anything which is a shame as there is great potential here.

If it is the same as my TS2009, open the topolgy menu (upper right) and use the "section" buttons at the bottom.

Yes, just click on the add ground button and then click on the side of the baseboard that you want to add ground to. I sort of stumbled on that on myself. I just wish I could remember half of what I have stumbled on.....LOL
