Surveyor = game lockup

I opened Surveyor to Industrial Wasteland.
I set up several different trains and located them in different areas of the map.
I switch to driver and start trains moving.
When I get to one in the Seaport and click on the engines to start them, the game freezes and then closes.
Any ideas on what is going on?
I also saw a yellow or red button flashing sometimes in the lower right part of the screen. It says something about a SD70 problem. I don't know what this means but the engine in the seaport might be one of my (6) SD70.

PC Specs

It would help if you could give your PC's Specs. This is usually the cause of lockups, chuckouts and most PC crashes.

I have a PC running Vista. The computer doesn't lock up, just the program. I can shut it down with Task Manager. I changed things around on the screen and have been experimenting and I can get 5 engines only, moving in circles at one time but I haven't been back to the problem area to see what happens there with a large train.
Any ideas?
I'm working a lot right now and don't have time to experiment a lot with it.

My guess is a defective locomotive.

Which SD 70's are they and who made them. May give someone a clue how to help. If they're Philskene's they need fuel.
