Hello everyone!

I'm fairly new to the Trainz franchise, by the suggestion of a friend. Over the last couple of weeks, I've installed both the 2006 and 2009 versions.

I've downloaded a few routes, most of which won't work in either version, and I've downloaded a couple of routes that have portals, but are not iPortals but portals that bring you back into the same route.

Does anyone have any suggestions for routes with iPortals that will work in either 2006 or 2009 versions?

Thanks for the help, and I look forward to interacting with anyone that would like to get into some interactive gaming. For those interested in iPortal sessions, add Buzz_Dryver to your buddy list and watch for me to come on line. Right now I'm into Tidewater N and S fairly regularly and can't get rid of my lumber loads!!!

Have a good day! See ya on the rails!

Welcome :)

Which routes have you downloaded? I usually edit and tweak the routes that I download to my liking. I used the iPortals with 2006 alot, but haven't tried them in 2009 yet.

You can always try adding them to any route. If you try to add an iportal and then try to edit it, does it let you or does it just show up blank?

I've been on a hopper train all night and am heading to bed, when I get up later, I'll test the iportals in 2009 and see if they work for me.

The only route that I've downloaded that is working is Summer Valley. It has portals, but they're not iPortals. Just ingame that transfer you from one section to another. There is also an australian one that I can't remember without starting the game that also does the same.

Yes, I've been going through all the missing depencencies, but time after time I get stuck because either the missing file is either "Not found on DLS" or "Missing Kuid" shows up. I put the kuid in the search, but can never be identified.

Other errors that I get relate to the textures either not found or cannot be loaded. I've done quite a bit of editing of the config files and some have been cleared up, but not all.
