The quickest and easiest tutorial is a good example.
I suggest downloading the layout "IRT 1904" by JeffMorris. It's basic and simple, with both elevated and underground sections. Use the transparent grid function to see underground and figure out how he built everything.
The assets are a little dated, so once you know how Jeffmorris did his layouts, you might want to download Magicland's subway kit to get newer tunnels and passenger enabled stations.
Then practice building small one or two board subways until you get a feel for all the tricks and techniques.
And let us know how you do. Wer always love good screenshots.

yes, I have already downloaded IRT 1904 and is studying the layout. Hope will pick up things soon. My main problem is when my line is moving fro underground to ground level, at one point the ground is seen as a wall before the train reaches the round level. Trying to solve this and hope with the guidance of all of you will overcome this problem soon.
Will download Magicland too and try.

Look for the Dighole in the AJS region of your items. It makes one square of your baseboard invisible so it won't show up as a wall. The portals are trackside objects that can be used to cover the extra hole.
Select the dighole and try clicking anywhere on the baseboard. If you don't like the hole where you put it, use the grey grid function (whatever that's called) and look for a white "x". When you remove that the terrain reappears.

Thank you so much Claude. Yes I have tried AJS Dighole and it seems to work fine. With some more trials I feel I should be able to over come my problem. Thanks a lot again.
Hi Ish, I already have Magicland, Mcq, and Jaleel pieces. Will try Tom-sa pieces too. Thanx for the suggestion. As said they are all unique pieces. Will await eagerly the ones you are to add.
