Substituting Automobiles in Trainz Mac

It is pretty clear that operation instructions for using Trainz is non-existent, which surprises me. I need help. How does one replace automobiles on the roads in Trainz Mac. I'm modeling a steam railroad circa 1940s. A 1990 Jag zipping down the road just doesn't look right. Most answers relating to this say to go to the Configuration text file. What configuration text file? When I go to surveyor, I immediately get into surveyor with no options to go to files. Where are these mysterious files? Is this unique to Mac users? Since there are no manuals (who would have guessed), I'd appreciate some input.

The list of carz (that's how we spell cars in Trainz:)) to be displayed on roads is normally defined in the route's region kuid, altho not all region kuids include carz. A list of carz can also be included in the route's config.txt file.
The WIKI at http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php5/HowToGuides has a guide titled HowTo/Add Carz Traffic to a Route which shows you how to do it.

Bob,
Thanks for the help. I did find all the file folders that have the config.txt files in my User Computer Folder on my Mac (after being tipped off in a blurb that to remove the program from the computer one simply has to go to one's User's Folder and trash the Trainz folder). The How To guides look like they will be a great help. Hopefully, I can figure it all out. As an aside, the steam railroad here at Essex, CT recently added a completely restored Mikado to their roster and invited me to to take her out for a spin. I'm trained as an engineer, but since I'm not licensed, they won't let you solo. A licensed engineer comes along for the ride. Trainz is great, but there is nothing like the real thing.
