Stuttering and sticky scrolling in surveyor mode

When I scroll through my locos and rolling stock in Surveyor mode to select for placement it takes ages . It is so frustrating.
What could be the cause and how can I rectify this please. ( does the amount of vehicles in the game affect the scrolling speed ? )
It does it in open GL and Directx. I notice the scrolling is better when selecting objects and the other icons besides vehicles .
In general my TS12 is also stuttering in driver and when free roaming since updating to build 61388.

Did you just update very recently, download any new updated content, or even install a lot of content?

I ask because TADD could be running a database verification while you are trying to do things in Surveyor. This can cause the awful performance you are seeing. Yes, having lots and lots of trains can cause poor performance as well, but I'd say it's more to do with the database verification process.

I suggest that you let this run unbothered for some time and check later. A good disk defrag helps too, unless you are running on an SSD, as that will speed up drive access.

I updated around three weeks ago and there have been many funny ( to me at least ) verifications , changes and errors taking place within CM yes John.
Many assets become open for edit and I have been told a few times that I am not authorised to do changes which I have not done.
Can I just ask you to clear up something for me : When scrolling and selecting an asset that has not been scrolled since the update - does it get verified first by TADD every time ?

I am not sure about that with the scrolling. Perhaps others might know or verify that. With your stuck open stuff, I'd suggest running an EDR. Remember you'll have to verify false errors afterwards, but that's normal anyway. After the DB repair, the database will verify again, but it should be much better than it is especially with the open for edit stuck assets.
