Strobe Light

I would like to add a strobe light to the roof of the cab of a RS-3. I downloaded the strobe light from the download station but do not know to add it to the RS-3. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thanks funnnyfarm

You need to get a tool from PEV called the attachment maker
but unless your up to writing configs and have some PC skills - forget it

The strobe for the RS-3 is Alco RS-3 F&W #160-Rotating Beacon Meshes kuid2:200687:111140:1. funnnyfarm

Yes, it can be a bit tricky to use but it does work. The help files are quite good. Basically you create an invisible attachment mesh with the attachment point for your strobe light. Then add the attachment container to the loco's config.txt. It's all described in the help file.
