Streamlined locomotives without their Streamlining?

Hello. I was just wondering if anybody had any pictures of some famous streamliners without their covers? More specifically, the PRR T1 and S1, and those Milwaukee Road Hudsons and Atlantics? I know there are probably none, but I was just wondering...

as Complicated as it is,I can't even begin to think about the PRR's duplex of this type with the violent wheel slip as evident by the piston and the 4 drivers facing the firebox, but streamlining does create a striking look on these locos!

You can't even tell they're the same class. Wow.

unless of course you can get a closer look at the builder's plates on the side of the engine that can tell who made it like for example, the C&O 4-8-4 #614 made by Lima and N&W J made by the Railroad's own Roanoke shops!;)

MR's famed "Hiawatha" Hudsons - before the Hiawatha.

That's the ALCo F7? The sheathing really transformed it huh?

Hangon a minute, it doesn't have Boxpok driving wheels?

~R~

The Hiawatha Hudsons and the other Hudsons were two different models. The Hiawathas had 84-inch boxpox driving wheels.

Actaully C&O 490 was rebuilt from an F-19 class Pacific. The L-2 Hudson you shown was built and remained like that, the L-2a's had a look like their 4-8-4's.
