Strange locomotive physics

Hi guys. I have a small issue here regarding physics in ts2010. There's this cute Forney I got from ng30.com, runs fine and all. Problem is, even in cab mode, a single Forney can pull twenty fully loaded coal hoppers just quickly as it can pull 2 empty ones. Is there a workaround for this? An enginespec edit perhaps?
